Pre-departure sessions are required for every Education Abroad program. These sessions, led by Global Affairs team members, cover travel health, safety, and other important information needed before you leave for your program. Participants can attend any session, so based on your schedule, find the date and time that works best for you using the links below.

After viewing the recording, students may email: educationabroad@mail.wvu.edu with 2 facts from the presentation to meet their application requirement for Summer 2026 programs.
For Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 students, additional sessions will be added during the Summer and Fall semesters shortly.
Students are encouraged to attend these sessions as early as possible. If needed, students are welcome to attend more than one session. Parents of traveling students are welcome to attend.
