Are you part of a student organization and would like to travel abroad with your group? If so, you have come to the right place!
Organizations can explore abroad for credit, like the Business Brigades, or they can choose to travel without earning credit. Student orgs MUST communicate with the Office of Global Affairs about their upcoming trip to be eligible for SGA funding.
All WVU sponsored student travel requires travel registration and approval from the Office of Global Affairs before program departure. It is recommended that students submit their requests at least a month in advance of the semester of travel.
Student Organization leaders should submit a proposal on behalf of their group using
the apply now button in this page. Education Abroad will be in touch regarding
any questions or concerns with your travel plans. This form should only be used
for student org. groups traveling internationally that will not be receiving course
credit. Programs bearing credit will need to be proposed by the faculty leader
  through the
  Faculty-led Program Proposal.

Education Abroad can provide assistance with logistics, partner contacts, vetted
program providers, etc. Students are required to attended a pre-departure orientation
provided by Education Abroad before departure, this can be integrated into a group
meeting or provider orientation, as needed. All approved programs are provided
24/7 emergency support, International SOS for international assistance, and comprehensive
travel and health insurance. More information on this coverage can be
  found here.

Individual students seeking to participate in a program (for WVU or transient
credit) outside the WVU portfolio must submit an
Appeal to Participate in a Non-WVU program.
