Studying abroad is one way to increase your employability after graduation. The Career Services Center can help student reflect on their time abroad and articulate these experiences on their resume, cover letter, and in a professional interview.

The WVU Center for Service and Learning (CSL)

Did you know you can earn service hours abroad? Student studying abroad can log volunteer hours through iServe. Many faculty-led programs include service opportunities or have a global service-learning component.

Office of the University Registrar

Education Abroad programs through partner universities or approved providers will result in ‘transient credit’ received via transcript through the host institution. This credit is processed through OUR which maintains a database of previously evaluated course equivalencies. Students can submit new courses for review before studying abroad to make sure courses fit their academic needs.

Be a Global Mountaineer

The Global Mountaineer Certificate Program allows students to internationalize their WVU academic coursework and develop global competencies to better prepare them for an international workforce.

Summer 2023 courses for GLO 101 and 486 are currently unavailable and our site will be updated with Summer 2023 CRN's when available.

GLO 101 and 486 will also be offered online and in person for Fall 2023.
